With the Emergence of iSpirt will get disjointed from Nasscom?

Nasscom (National Association of Software and Services Companies) was established in 1988 by the trade association of Indian Information Technology (IT) and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) to simplify business and trade in software and services and to encourage development of research in software technology. It is a non-profit organization with over 1200 members.


From the recent newsflash which is taking place in IT industry, is the emergence of ‘iSpirt’ i.e. Indian Software Product Industry Round Table. Thirty Indian software product companies have come together to form this new association, making their first break from the anthology IT and its technologies – Nasscom, and replicating the growing confidence and maturity of the software product community.

The 30 founding members of this organization which are mainly associated; is currently led by Bharat Goenka, co-founder of Tally Solutions, Sharad Sharma, former head of Yahoo India R&D, startup mentor and founder of Brand Sigma, Naveen Tewari, founder of In-Mobi , and Vishnu Dusad, founder of Nucleus Software.
